About the Role
As a Principle Applied Scientist, you will play an important role in contributing to the development and optimization of our online services and offline pipelines within our content ecosystem to achieve product and business growth goals. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement recommendation algorithms to deliver product features and drive user engagement. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze performance metrics and user feedback, incorporating advanced machine learning techniques including generative AI techniques.

- Conduct in-depth market research across the technology industry, identifying emerging trends, competitive threats, and partnership opportunities that directly inform the company's quarterly strategic planning sessions
- Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement recommendation algorithms to deliver product features and drive user engagement
The Candidate we're looking for
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research) OR Master’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research) OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research) OR equivalent experience
Technical skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with other programming languages like C#, C++ is a plus
