The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven marketing leader to shape and accelerate Valvoline's growth across Europe (including CIS countries). As Senior Marketing Manager – Europe, you will own the regional marketing agenda end-to-end — from strategy and brand positioning to product launches, trade activation and digital transformation.

How You'll Make an Impact

Drive Regional Growth Strategy
  • Develop and execute an integrated European marketing strategy aligned to revenue and profitability targets.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Technical and Product Management to deliver differentiated value propositions.
  • Strengthen customer segmentation, positioning and channel strategies across B2B, B2C, Automotive and Industrial sectors.
Elevate the Valvoline Brand
  • Lead brand-building initiatives across Europe in collaboration with the Global Brand team.
  • Translate global brand assets into locally relevant, high-impact programs.
  • Drive awareness, advocacy and loyalty across direct and indirect channels.
Own Market & Customer Insights
  • Lead regional market intelligence and contribute to the Global Marketing Council.
  • Build robust frameworks to monitor competitive dynamics and customer trends, enabling data-driven decision making.
Lead Product Marketing Excellence
  • Ensure a competitive and relevant product portfolio in partnership with Product Strategy and the Center of Excellence.
  • Own successful go-to-market execution and regional product launches.
  • Implement governance and coordination across stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.
Activate the Channel
  • Lead and mentor the trade marketing and distributor activation team.
  • Drive impactful programs that support wholesalers, distributors and key customers.
  • Translate insights into action to strengthen commercial partnerships and market penetration.
Champion Digital & Value Proposition
  • Lead strategic messaging and campaign execution across digital and offline channels.
  • Oversee European digital platforms including multilingual websites, Lubricant Advisor tools and social channels.
  • Drive CRM, marketing automation and customer journey analytics with a strong focus on measurable ROI.
Ensure Financial & Operational Excellence
  • Own the European marketing budget and clearly link spend to revenue outcomes.
  • Define and track KPIs that connect marketing performance to business growth.
  • Contribute to monthly business reviews and the S&OP process with clear performance reporting.
Inspire & Develop the Team
  • Build and lead a high-performing, diverse marketing team across the region.
  • Develop capabilities, strengthen processes and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Act as a connector between Global and Regional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Management (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of international marketing leadership experience, ideally within lubricants or adjacent industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with cross-functional business understanding.
  • Experience in B2C Automotive markets is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse, international teams.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across complex organizations.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong financial literacy.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit — hands-on, proactive and comfortable in high-growth, fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
