Description
Join Prodrive's JLR Rally Team as a No 2 Technician and be part of a close-knit team working on the iconic Defender brand's FIA World Rally Raid Championship programme. Under the guidance of the No 1 and Chief Technician, you will ensure the car, spares and equipment are prepared on time and to the high standards expected. You'll become part of a team that has just claimed victory at Dakar and is expanding, with a focus on extreme stamina, work-ethic and drive for results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out work as directed by the No 1 Technician/Chief Technician, keeping them informed of any additional work necessary on a car during build or repair.
- Perform On-Event and workshop maintenance as required by No 1/Chief Technician, ensuring the car is always to the correct specification.
- Carry out other adhoc duties requested by the Team management.
Requirements:
- Previous rally experience with a strong ability to understand and interpret the build specification of a full car set up.
- Ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible approach.
- Preparedness to work overtime as dictated by the demands of the business.
