Description
Aramco is seeking a Litigation Counsel to join the International Litigation Practice Area at Aramco's Law Organisation. The Litigation Counsel will oversee litigation activities impacting Aramco, including managing cases where Aramco is a named party, monitoring the litigation landscape for energy companies generally, tracking and advising on litigation matters managed by Aramco subsidiaries, and briefing management on litigation risks.
Key responsibilities include: Manage the Company's international litigation matters in coordination with Law Management and external counsel; Monitor and consolidate reporting on international litigation matters across the enterprise (e.g., review and monitor out-of-Kingdom subsidiaries' and joint ventures' litigation matters, as applicable), and in the energy sector generally; Monitor legal, regulatory, and procedural developments in relation to international litigation; and Provide training on key issues in connection with potential international litigation.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Law degree as minimum, current admission to general practice before the highest court of the state or country of which they are a citizen or resident, and a minimum of 10 years hands-on experience gained in a large multinational corporation or law firm, specifically in overseeing complex arbitrations.
