Description
We are seeking a passionate Host/Hostess to join our F&B team at Soho House in Roma, Rome, Italy.
As a Host/Hostess, your role is to ensure that our members have an amazing experience every time.
Main duties include:
- Welcoming guests to the venue
- Providing accurate wait times and monitoring waiting lists
- Managing reservations through OpenTable
- Providing menus and delivering water and drinks, if needed
- Coordinating with wait staff about available seating options
- Delivering orders from the kitchen to customers at the House restaurants
- Providing excellent customer service to everyone, anticipating members' and guests' needs
- Performing tasks to support waiters and other staff members
- Greeting customers upon their departure
Requirements and skills:
- Passion for food and beverage and guest satisfaction
- Reliable, flexible, friendly, and happy to be a key part of the team
- Fluent in English
- Eligible to work in Italy or have a valid Italian work permit/visa
- Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands
- Ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Fast-paced movements required
- Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb
