Description

We are seeking an experienced Integration and Test Lead to join our Omen team at our Costa Mesa HQ. As an Integration and Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the integration and testing of our autonomous air vehicles, including the Omen.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the use of 'Test' as a design tool to support component, system, and subsystem maturation from discrete bench tests to production representative Vehicle, Mission, and Support Systems. This includes developing and sustaining highly representative Hardware In Lab (HIL) and Hardware In The Loop (HITL) physical integration environments – capable of 'flying' missions.

You will also focus on the safety of integration environments, ensuring that potential harm of team members can be eliminated by design. Additionally, you will leverage crewed and uncrewed flying assets as surrogates for subsystem development in the representative environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in systems engineering, integration, and test, with experience in developing and operating HIL/HITL/IRON BIRD environments for flight vehicles. You should also have experience with vehicle/system level integration and test, preferably with Group 3 or larger uncrewed and autonomous platforms.

  • Lead the use of 'Test' as a design tool to support component, system, and subsystem maturation from discrete bench tests to production representative Vehicle, Mission, and Support Systems
  • Develop and sustain highly representative Hardware In Lab (HIL) and Hardware In The Loop (HITL) physical integration environments – capable of 'flying' missions
  • Focus on the safety of integration environments, ensuring that potential harm of team members can be eliminated by design
  • Leverage crewed and uncrewed flying assets as surrogates for subsystem development in the representative environment
  • Develop, review, and execute right-sized test plans across integration environments, efficiently capturing and reporting learnings, and making recommendations as inputs to design
  • Conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and assess and mitigate hazards to ensure that testing can be safely and efficiently executed
  • Implement and maintain processes for configuration control of integration environments
  • Support factory acceptance, ground, and flight test of prototype and production representative Systems

We offer a competitive salary range of $166,000-$220,000 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, income protection, generous time off, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development opportunities, commuter benefits, relocation assistance, and a retirement savings plan.

If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, please submit your application today.
