Engineer (m/f/d) 0D/1D CFD-Simulation

We are looking for an Engineer (m/f/d) CFD Simulation specializing in 1D CFD-Simulations to support vehicle development projects at our Cologne headquarters.

Job description / Tasks:

• Conduct 0D/1D CFD simulations, mainly for ICE simulation and mating parts, for conventional and alternative-fuel power trains.
• ICE Performance development and engine real time model development.
• Collaboration with universities and other leading external research institutions to drive state-of-the-art development and innovation.
• Strong emphasis on personal responsibility and self-directed work.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a master's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Have already basic experience 0D/1D CFD-Simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development.
• Be proficient with software tools as GTPower and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e-fuels and hydrogen.
• Possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python.
• Be able to speak and write professional English.
• Show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture.
• Be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self-organized manner.
