Tool & Die Maker - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and making engineering changes to all tools and fixtures. You will also assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and make engineering changes to all tools and fixtures
• Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
• Safely operate all tool room equipment
• Have abilities to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
• Trouble shoot and resolve tooling problems
• Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
• Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a tool and die making environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
