Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in analysing and interpreting complex data sets to inform our racing strategy and improve our performance on the track.

Responsibilities ----------------

• Work closely with our racing team to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions to improve their performance
• Develop and maintain complex data models and algorithms to analyse and interpret large data sets
• Collaborate with our data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines and architectures
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including our racing team and senior management

Requirements ------------

• A strong background in data science, including experience with machine learning and statistical modelling
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications ----------------------

• Experience working in a Formula One team or a similar high-performance environment
• Knowledge of racing strategy and tactics
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Matplotlib and Seaborn
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
