Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of VP Global Payment Solutions Product Manager. As a key member of our Global Payment Solutions (GPS) team, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our range of payment products to meet the cash management needs of our wholesale customers.
Your primary responsibilities will include generating product ideas for existing and new products, coordinating market research and development projects, conducting market rollouts and product commercialization activities, and developing and executing sales and marketing plans to increase product penetration, usage, and revenue.
You will also be responsible for managing assigned product profitability, costing, margin, and pricing decisions, tracking and benchmarking service quality, and driving internal processes to ensure smooth product delivery.
In addition, you will ensure that assigned product suites comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies, and internal procedures, and manage product operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation, and control.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with demonstrated experience in banking/financial services and exposure to Corporate/Commercial Banking segment. Transaction Banking Product Management experience will be an advantage.
You will also need to have exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, and drive alignment on product goals in a matrixed organisation.
High-level business acumen and commercial awareness, together with a sound knowledge of the full range of transaction banking products commerce and/or ecommerce, are essential.
Experience in dealing with technology platforms, programme delivery/process improvement, high-level oral and written communication skills, and presentation skills, including public speaking, are also required.
Complex and analytical reasoning, technical and computer skills are necessary for this role.
