Cloud Service Broker for Database Lifecycle Management

Design, develop, and enhance a cloud service broker for database lifecycle management

• Refactor an existing AWS-based broker to support multi-cloud capabilities (OCI, MongoDB)
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform
• Develop backend logic and integrations using Python, PySpark, and JavaScript
• Enable self-service workflows for database provisioning and operations
• Collaborate closely with architects, platform teams, and customer stakeholders
• Contribute to defining architecture, requirements, and delivery roadmap

Must haves:

• Strong experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code)
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and/or JavaScript
• Solid background in cloud platforms, especially AWS
• Proven experience with database systems and concepts
• Experience with at least one of the following databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• Relevant experience with API-based service design and automation workflows

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (can be learned on the project)
• Experience with AWS CDK (Infrastructure as code)
• Experience with Go or C
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures
• Experience building or extending self-service platforms or service brokers
• Knowledge of database lifecycle automation (provisioning, patching, decommissioning)
