Clinical Helper - Float Pool

As a Clinical Helper in our esteemed team, you will provide basic hands-on care for hospitalised patients. You will assist the nursing assistant with hands-on care, including bathing, feeding, toileting, and applying and removing restraints.

Responsibilities:

• Bathe patients
• Feed patients
• Assist with toileting
• Apply and remove restraints (soft wrist and mittens)
• Complete CHG baths
• Perform Foley maintenance care
• Turn/reposition patients
• Assist with activity progression

Education Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent

License/Certification Requirements:

• Current BCLS certification

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is preferred
• Superior interpersonal communication skills
