We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Control Manager.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Businesses for ensuring their compliance with statutory, group and internal requirements
  • Provide assistance on Risk & Control Assessments review and update
  • Perform data analysis for risk identification and monitoring
  • Handle ad hoc projects in relation to Business/ Entity risk and compliance
  • Collaborate with onshore manager/stakeholders to facilitate internal communication
  • Coordinate with Businesses in relation to regulatory or audit enquiries and to ensure proper completion of the concerned actions
  • Monthly performance report, which contain current tasks status
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholder timely, ensuring the effectiveness and smoothness of operations
  • Monitor effectiveness controls through KPI/KCI, QC/QA, governance etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ banking experience, preferably with exposure to retail banking business and knowledge of related regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
  • Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation
  • Good communication and English writing skills, with sound knowledge of application software such as MS Excel and PowerPoint an advantage
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Good time management and project management capabilities
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
