Description
We're seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to join our team for a 10-week paid internship program. As an intern, you'll contribute to the development of real-time software for our advanced UAVs, working cross-functionally with electrical and mechanical engineers to determine software requirements. You'll write embedded firmware in C/C++, develop tests and reporters in Python, and help us deliver the most highly reliable aerospace hardware in the industry.
The internship project scope will be derived from our team's backlog of work, ensuring it directly meets business needs. You'll work with full-time engineers to design, implement, and test your solution.
To be successful in this role, you should have software development expertise in C++, experience with software development on real-time embedded systems, and great written and verbal communication skills.
As a valued member of our team, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of $42-$62, depending on your level of education, and a housing stipend for those who qualify. Our internship program dates are June 1st-August 7th or June 22nd-August 28th.
