Description

We're seeking a skilled Android Engineer with a product-focused mindset to join the Ad Formats team. The team drives the development of ad formats that help advertisers maximize reach and brand impact. They focus on high-visibility, awareness-driven solutions that create memorable experiences for Reddit users.

Responsibilities: Build Ad experiences and create patterns for Reddit's Android app that enhance our ads' performance and functionality. Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions for complex challenges. Engage in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy.

Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Android engineering and languages such as Kotlin or Java, with at least 3 years of experience in software development. Strong software engineering fundamentals. A willingness to tackle the challenges of creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps. An openness to explore innovative approaches to software development.

Bonus Points: Experience working on ad tech. Able to work full stack.
