Description
Create or change Bill of Materials (BOM) within the SAP S/4 HANA system as per Engineering BOM as mandated by Engineering Change Notice (ECN).
Build and maintain routings, including labor standards, machine times, and setup times in SAP based on data provided by Manufacturing Engineers.
Ensure SAP BOM accuracy in comparison with Engineering BOM using advanced excel based tools before the same is released for costing to Finance Department.
Participate in weekly ECN meeting to understand the upcoming product changes and also to provide status update for SAP BOM related tasks.
Work closely with ECN coordinator for ECN task list timing related to SAP BOMs.
Coordinate with ME team members to track and maintain up-to-date data of Department KPI's. Do necessary follow-up to achieve the targets.
Archive documents and/or records and maintain the archive database.
Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager including assignments on shop floor.
Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.
Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
Basic Requirements:
- University and/or college diploma.
- Working experience of SAP S/4 HANA is mandatory.
- Daily, hands-on use of BOMs and routing in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly conscientious; must be detail-oriented.
The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $36,608.00 - $53,000.00
