Become part of an inclusive organisation with a mission to improve the health and well-being of unique communities. We are seeking a Clinical Support Tech I to assist professional caregivers in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, and maintaining patient rooms.
Responsibilities: Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures. Critically review patient care documentation and report any significant changes to a registered nurse or physician. Provide clerical tasks, including organising and prioritising workload, greeting and directing visitors, and transcribing physician orders. Provide clinical support assistance, including cleaning the work area, maintaining office equipment, and transporting patients and supplies. Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation. Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by the registered nurse or physician and document patient understanding of instructions.
Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED). Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior experience not required.
