We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team in Lexington, MA. As a Quality Technician, you will play a key part in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet high-quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality assurance protocols.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including calibrated equipment, and develop your skills in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and end-of-line inspection to ensure that products meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to create inspection plans for incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers and monitor their compliance.
  • Execute equipment calibration and material shelf-life verification programs.
  • Support Material Review Board processes.
  • Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
  • Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.

Requirements:

  • Technical or Associate's degree in a related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field.
  • 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience within the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with calibrated equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and CMM.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and understanding of dimension and tolerancing.
  • Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (Power Supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses).
  • Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949, or similar QMS standard.
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Understanding of FAIR, COC, production metrics.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study.
  • IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 Certification.
  • Experience with Manufacturing processes and their related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD).
  • Experience with auditing processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with minimal oversight - strong ability to communicate with different cross-functional teams.
