Customer Service Operative

Your job is to work as a Customer Service Operative at ABM UK's Parkway Shopping Centre in Newbury. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of members of the public who visit the Centre, responding to customer enquiries, directing customers to required stores, and selling Eden Centre gift cards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to written and verbal enquiries from customers
• Directing customers to required stores within the Centre
• Transferring telephone calls to management staff
• Selling Eden Centre gift cards and reconciling cash at the end of the day
• Health and safety checks
• Reporting and logging maintenance jobs
• Maintaining stock levels of Centre leaflets and signage
• Creating a rapport with staff in stores and maintaining contact

You will work on a part-time basis, with a shift pattern of weekends and 20 hours per week, with overtime for sickness and holidays. The pay rate is £13.75 per hour.
