We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused professional to join our Professional Services team as a Staff Consultant- Structural. As a Staff Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering technical consulting projects to our clients, working closely with cross-functional teams, and driving business growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Under guidance of experienced team members, and in collaboration with your direct supervisor, own and execute tasks in delivery of specific customer facing, technical consulting projects activities
  • Develop Statements of Work and Services Proposals
  • Execute consulting projects timely and credibly, as defined in Statement of Work, resulting in high customer satisfaction, and delivering value to our customers
  • Work as an integral member of the team to progress and secure the consulting business. This will involve working with Sales to develop sales strategies, engaging with customers to understand their existing product development process, developing a vision for enhancing their existing process with products and services, articulating that vision to the customer, and working with the team to develop a plan for execution of that vision
  • Contribute to Services projects of higher complexity involving multi-physics workflows, PIDO, MBSE and AI/ML.
  • Track and document positive business outcomes from delivered Services work
  • Expand your technical knowledge, learn relevant products, contribute to internal company knowledge sharing initiatives. Embrace the culture of codifying and creating best practices within a technical discipline and across disciplines.
  • Look for opportunities to generate marketing collateral from projects such as success stories, testimonials and presentation material
  • Collaborate with Product Development to enhance our software products and the customers’ experience using these products
  • Conduct training classes

What You’ll Need:

  • Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/ Engineering or related field
  • Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0
  • Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages
  • Subject matter expert in one or more relevant disciplines within Ansys’ business and is/will be sought out for advice by other Ansys engineers
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
  • Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of time
  • Two(2) years of hands-on experience in Mechanical modeling of industrial applications using commercial CAE tools like Ansys Mechanical or equivalent
  • Proficient in workflow customization or automation using the Python programming language
