Mechanical Technician

Multiskilled Mechanical Technician required to undertake reactive and planned maintenance. To carry out mechanical remedial works, attend and rectify mechanical faults, and perform planned maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out mechanical remedial works
• Attending and rectifying mechanical faults
• Performing planned maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules
• Undertaking PPM activity in a quality, professional manner
• Producing technical and situational reports as required
• Proactively using technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Communicating clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clients
• Attending team meetings and briefings as requested
• Ensuring the company is presented in a good light
• Escalating major site issues or incidents to the line manager

Required skills and experience include:

• Full UK driving licence
• Clear DBS
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 HAVC/Air conditioning/plumbing
• F-Gas
• Hot Water Systems and Safety Course G3 (Part G3 Building Regulations)
• Water regs & L8
• PASMA
• IPAF
