Description

We're seeking a Sales Engineer to join our SMB Sales team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in uncovering the true business problems of our prospects and customers and designing solutions to solve their problems. You'll work closely with our SMB Sales team as the technical lead during the pre-sales process, partnering with Account Executives to demonstrate to prospects how Plaid can solve their problems, address their use cases and meet their technical requirements.

Responsibilities: Serve as the lead technical product lead for SMB accounts throughout the sales process Partner with Account Executives to demonstrate to prospects how Plaid can solve their problems, address their use cases and meet their technical requirements Work with our engineering, product and design teams to translate prospect feedback into meaningful product insights

Requirements: A strong sense of customer empathy A background that combines business experience, sales experience and technical acumen Strong communication skills Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts Knowledge of web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP and REST Knowledge of mobile and web application architecture specific to interfacing with API platforms Nice to have: Credit, Payments & Identity verification experience
