Backend Engineer

You'll join the Bonfire team, where we focus on building the entire end-to-end campaign booking experience. As a Backend Engineer, you'll own the full lifecycle of campaign management tools, ensuring a seamless, reliable, and scalable flow from the first click to the final execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building backend services that power campaign booking and management flows
• Designing and developing APIs that support campaign creation and execution
• Working closely with product and design to bring new features to life
• Improving system scalability, performance, and reliability
• Contributing to a collaborative engineering culture through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Helping evolve our architecture as we grow and scale

We're looking for someone with experience developing backend systems using Java, designing APIs, and working with service-based architectures. You should be able to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, care about performance, scalability, and system reliability, and enjoy working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

We offer a competitive salary range of $107,483-$153,547 equity, as well as benefits including health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, and paid sick leave.
