Description
We're seeking a Principal Software Developer to drive impactful projects in Engineering Productivity. As a member of the Engineering Productivity team, you will provide the foundation for Elastic teams to develop, build, test, and release their software at scale.
In this role, you will solve technical problems of the largest scope, complexity, and ambiguity. You will drive large, impactful projects that involve multiple stakeholders and impact many teams. You will represent Engineering Productivity to the rest of the company, gathering feedback and advocating for our projects and vision at different levels.
To succeed in this role, you will need a high level of autonomy, strong communication skills, a supportive mindset, and effective stakeholder management. You will also need knowledge of Platform Engineering and CI/CD systems and practices, familiarity with Kubernetes, and broad software development background and solid knowledge in either Go or Python.
In addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.
