Anthropic STEM Fellow

About This Role

We're seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Anthropic STEM Fellows Program. As a Fellow, you'll work alongside our research teams to develop and apply cutting-edge AI models to real-world problems in various STEM domains.

What You'll Work On

• Design rigorous evaluations to measure model performance in your field
• Identify or create data and techniques to target capability gaps
• Apply Claude to open problems in your domain using various test-time compute strategies and integrating relevant scientific tools/software

Ideal Candidates

• Are excited about the potential for AI to accelerate scientific discovery
• Are familiar with using Claude and Claude Code as part of their day-to-day workflow
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-agency atmosphere for a few months and delivering concrete results
• Hold (or are completing) a PhD in a STEM field, or have equivalent research experience
