You will manage cross-series AC/DC charging issues, covering the full chain from backend/head unit communication to the vehicle side. You will analyze vehicle logs, backend services, and interface data to identify and document charging-related problems. You will process and prioritize internal and external error reports using Cluu, KPM, and Jira. You will facilitate cross-team collaboration between quality teams, backend teams, and BTVs to ensure smooth issue resolution. You will support weekly reporting and contribute to the weekly error review meeting. You will work in close partnership with BTVs and occasionally conduct business trips to reproduce and verify issues on the vehicle. You will prepare clear reports, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Charging System Developer to join our team. You should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent education. You should have previous experience in automotive development, focusing on cross-sectional functions. You should have experience in issue management for charging systems within the automotive field. You should have experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, KPM, CLUU). You should have the willingness to understand the development processes at Porsche and to work with different specific tools for trace analyses. You should have good knowledge of MS Office tools with a focus on Excel. You should speak German and English fluently. You should have a confident appearance, excellent communication and persuasive skills, along with strong social skills and political awareness.
