Description

Job Title: Web Manager\n\nForward Networks is seeking an experienced Web Manager to own the strategy, maintenance, and optimisation of our digital presence. As the primary product owner for our corporate website, you will ensure it is secure, functional, visually appealing, and optimised for user experience (UX) and lead generation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company website, ensuring high availability, performance, and security\n Manage the website roadmap (including localisation), prioritising features, updates, and bug fixes in alignment with business goals\n Serve as the primary liaison between marketing stakeholders (design, demand-gen, product marketing) and other internal content contributors (HR, legal, etc.)\n Ensure the website complies with global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)\n\nContent & User Experience (UX):\n\n Manage the Content Management System (CMS), ensuring content is updated, accurate, and consistent with brand voice\n Collaborate with the content team to upload, format, and publish blogs, case studies, landing pages, and resources\n Conduct regular audits to identify broken links, outdated content, and opportunities for UX improvements\n Implement A/B tests on landing pages to improve conversion rates and user engagement\n\nTechnical Oversight:\n\n Manage website hosting, domain registry, and DNS configurations\n Work with IT to coordinate plugin updates, security patches, and core system upgrades to prevent downtime\n Troubleshoot technical issues (e.g., 404 errors, slow load times, mobile responsiveness) and coordinate fixes with developer\n Maintain basic HTML/CSS updates and lightweight frontend changes without developer intervention\n\nAnalytics & SEO:\n\n Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console\n Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema markup, image optimisation) to improve organic search rankings\n Work with Marketing Ops to build monthly dashboards for stakeholders, providing insights on traffic, behaviour, and conversion metrics\n\nQualifications:\n\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field\n 5-7+ years of experience managing high-traffic websites\n Expertise in common CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Webflow, and experience managing themes/plugins; bonus points if you have managed a CMS migration project\n Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript; familiarity with PHP is a plus\n Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz)\n Experience using tools like Asana or Jira to manage web sprints and tickets\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\n\n The Problem Solver: You don't just report bugs; you investigate the root cause and find the solution\n The Translator: You can speak "developer" to the IT team and "marketing" to the creative team, ensuring everyone is on the same page\n The Detail-Obsessed: You spot a pixel-off alignment or a broken mobile layout instantly\n\nBase Salary Range: $140,000 – $175,000 per year
