Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring data accuracy and integrity in highly technical environments. As a Technical Document Control and Methods Specialist, you will be responsible for acting as the owner of product and engineering documentation within the Synopsys PLM system for assigned products or programs.

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring all documents required for manufacturing are approved, released, and controlled before being provided to Contract Manufacturer (CM) factories. You will also manage and maintain engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, work instructions, and procedures.

In addition, you will execute document control activities, ensuring version control, traceability, and compliance with internal standards and quality requirements. You will process and coordinate engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), document revisions, and product data updates through defined workflows.

You will perform quality checks and consistency reviews on engineering data to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to release. You will collaborate closely with Engineering teams to support product development, design changes, and data readiness for manufacturing.

You will work with Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure documentation supports efficient, compliant, and on-time production execution. You will interface with external manufacturing partners and contractors to support documentation alignment and issue resolution.

You will contribute to the continuous improvement of PLM/PDM tools, document control processes, and data quality standards. You will ensure adherence to internal procedures, quality systems, and applicable industrial and regulatory standards.

As a Technical Document Control and Methods Specialist, you will directly support the seamless transition from engineering design to manufacturing by ensuring data readiness and alignment. You will enhance product quality and compliance through rigorous document control and traceability processes.

You will reduce risks associated with uncontrolled or obsolete documentation, safeguarding production timelines and outcomes. You will drive continuous improvement in data management tools, workflows, and standards, contributing to operational excellence.

You will enable efficient, compliant, and on-time production execution by providing accurate, structured product data to manufacturing partners. You will foster collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and external partners to resolve documentation issues and promote best practices.

You will support the integrity and traceability of engineering data, ensuring products meet internal and regulatory standards.
