Nursing Assistant I - Progressive Care Unit

As a Nursing Assistant I in our Progressive Care Unit, you will provide routine direct and indirect patient care in a hospital setting. You will assist physicians and other healthcare providers with examinations and procedures, collect and document patient information, and provide care and treatments to patients as outlined in their plan of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide care and treatments to patients as outlined in their plan of care
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by the registered nurse or physician

Requirements:

• Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prefer six (6) months of nursing assistant experience

Salary Range: $17.60 - $24.29 per hour

Work Schedule: Night Job
