Description
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the technical success of our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs.
In this role, you will lead team delivery by architecting solutions, managing the completion of critical and often ambiguous tasks. You will take responsibility for reviews, ensuring they are aligned with goals, facilitate productive discussions, and make decisions to resolve issues. You will also lead the technical direction of the team, providing guidance to team members and setting an example of excellence.
Key responsibilities include mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, sponsoring emerging leaders, and advocating for their growth and career development. You will oversee the implementation of agile practices, aligning them with business objectives and facilitating cross-team collaboration.
Essential skills include strong expertise in at least one programming language, creating and reviewing technical designs that meet both business goals and technical feasibility, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Desirable skills include exposure or experience in HTML, CSS, React, Cypress, JavaScript, Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, Rest Assured, GCP, Jetbrains products, GitHub, Fossa, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Cycode.
