Obstetrics Care Provider (CNM or NP) - Multiple Schedules

Job Summary

As an Obstetrics Care Provider at Pomelo Care, you will provide direct patient care and clinical oversight to optimize outcomes for pregnant people and newborns. You will work closely with a clinical pod, including RNs, LCSWs, and RDs, to develop care plans and support other members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight to optimize outcomes for pregnant people and newborns
• Oversee the medical care of empaneled patients and attend daily clinical huddles
• Review complex patient cases, develop care plans, and support other members of the clinical team
• Monitor adverse events and hold clinical retros to identify areas for improvement in Pomelo's protocols
• Lead the development and review of evidence-based medical protocols and algorithms related to obstetric and women's health

Requirements

• Active compact RN license
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an APP
• Extensive obstetric experience, including treating high-risk patients, and some experience caring for infants
• Passion for optimizing evidence-based care and perinatal outcomes
• Experience using data to drive patient engagement, activation, and outcomes
• Experience leading successful teams and collaborating with others
• Ability to approach process change and ambiguous situations with enthusiasm, creativity, and accountability

Education and Training

• NP or CNM with significant experience in obstetrics and some experience in infant care

Bonus Points

• Telehealth and/or remote monitoring experience
• Experience in outpatient or home-based management of higher-risk patients

Schedule Options

• 1.0 FTE: Day Shift - Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm ET
• 1.0 FTE: Evening Shift - Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm ET
• 0.9 FTE: 3x12's - Rotating weekdays, 11:00am - 11:00pm ET
• 0.9 FTE: 3x12's - Monday, Saturday, Sunday, 9am - 9pm ET
• 0.9 FTE: 3x12's - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, 9am - 9pm ET
