Assembly Operative (Days)
Work in the assembly area, building brake components for OEM and motorsport customers.
Key Responsibilities
Work in a team environment to build brake components in line with quality and safety guidelines. Read manufacturing specifications to ensure components are built correctly. Identify and manage scrap, reject & sample materials, and participate in the QIS procedure. Suggest improvements to Quality and H&S processes. Maintain attention to detail in a high-volume throughput area. Comply with and support the Quality & Environmental Management Systems. Follow manual handling procedures at all times.
The Candidate
Previous assembly skills, ability to read English manufacturing specs, and use hand assembly tools (torque wrenches etc). Basic measuring equipment skills are also required. A FLT License is preferred but not essential. Self-motivation, good communication and problem-solving skills, numeracy, and flexibility in working hours are also necessary.
Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07.00 – 16.00, Friday: 07.00 – 12.00.
