Description
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Material Associate to join our Supply Chain team in Columbus, OH. As a Materials Associate, you will play a key role in processing shipping and receiving, preparing finished stock for shipment, and ensuring orderly production and distribution of products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing shipping and receiving at the Columbus, OH location.
- Preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product.
- Ensuring orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.
- Completing cycle counts and conducting all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority.
- Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signaling machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks.
Requirements include:
- 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role.
- 2+ years forklift experience, licensed (preferred).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
- Bonus if experience with Oracle.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
Preferred qualifications include heavy equipment experience, crane, straddle carrier (Combilift) experience, and experience with handling government or defense property.
