Join our dynamic company as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and growth. As a core member of the executive leadership team, you will partner closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leaders on company strategy, growth priorities, and capital allocation.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business strategy into financial plans, operating models, and long-range forecasts that support sustainable scaling
- Define, monitor, and continuously improve key financial and operational metrics; proactively surface risks, opportunities, and trade-offs
Financial Planning, Reporting & Governance:
- Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling, including multi-year strategic plans
- Prepare and present clear, compelling financial reporting and insights to the Board, investors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure strong financial controls, GAAP-compliant reporting, audits, and adherence to healthcare regulatory and reporting requirements
Revenue Cycle & Healthcare Economics:
- Own and optimize the revenue cycle management (RCM) function, ensuring best-in-class collections, payor performance, and cash conversion
- Partner with actuarial and clinical leadership to price, model, and manage risk for value-based care and at-risk contracts
Corporate Development & Capital Strategy:
- Lead corporate development efforts, including identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments
- Oversee financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration
AI, Data & Financial Innovation:
- Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced analytics across finance, revenue cycle, and forecasting to improve accuracy, speed, and decision-making
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance organization
- Establish a culture of accountability, rigor, transparency, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior leadership roles within healthcare services organizations
- Proven experience in growth-stage or PE/VC-backed companies, with a track record of scaling financial infrastructure
- Deep expertise in healthcare reimbursement, including fee-for-service, government payors, and value-based / risk-based payment models
- Strong understanding of corporate practice of medicine structures and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading fundraising efforts and managing investor relations
- Extensive experience with P&L ownership, unit economics, profitability analysis, and GAAP accounting
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments, with a bias toward action and outcomes
- Strong executive presence and credibility with Boards, investors, and external partners
