We are seeking a Manufacturing, Quality & Test Technician/Engineer to join our Quality & Test team in Dublin. This role is ideal for an experienced Test Technician/Engineer who can support external manufacturing sites during day-to-day production. This role will be remote-based with up to 3 to 4 days a week based at an external manufacturing site.
Key responsibilities include preparing test and diagnostic programs, developing test procedures, and understanding automated test systems and test software. The successful candidate will lead the commissioning, development, integration, and release of test stations to full production, define and outline training and sustaining activities, and create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for test requirements, plans, procedures, and results.
The role requires analyzing new production trends, continually defining and proposing strategies for test reduction, cost reduction, and improving time to market. The Manufacturing, Quality & Test Technician/Engineer will also support the manufacturing process as needed by performing root cause analysis, error proofing, and corrective action procedures.
Required qualifications include a third-level qualification in computing, engineering, or science, 5 years' experience in testing complex products in production environments, and strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
