About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop software solutions that deliver delightful and finely crafted user experiences on Bing. You will design and develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using modern frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). You will implement UX styling and design systems to maintain consistency and enhance usability across products. You will collaborate with other teams to achieve these goals. You will solve problems related to mission-critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. You will identify and fix or drive solutions for systemic issues. The Candidate we're looking for
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Technical skills:
- Strong technical proficiency, particularly in React, AngularJS, Web Components, and CSS.
- Proficiency in debugging and resolving issues across multiple subsystems.
- Familiarity with C# is a plus.
Personal attributes:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.
- Solid sense of accountability and ownership throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
