As a software developer intern, you'll actively contribute to the Motor-CAD development team, supporting ongoing and exploratory projects. You'll participate in the development and enhancement of the Synopsys Motor-CAD application, investigate creative solutions, and work on projects that may not be core today but have the potential to shape future innovations. You'll collaborate with team members, share insights, and help drive continuous improvement. You'll take responsibility for your assigned tasks and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include: Actively contributing as a member of the Motor-CAD development team, supporting ongoing and exploratory projects. Participating in the development and enhancement of the Synopsys Motor-CAD application. Requirements include: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, ideally in your penultimate year of study. Strong development skills in Python, C, or Delphi. Solid understanding and keen interest in physics. A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a team. Self-motivation and accountability for your work.
The program is 12 months long, full-time, and based in Wrexham, UK.
