Description
Join our team as an Aerodynamics Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge racing cars. As a key member of our aerodynamics department, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to design, develop, and test aerodynamic components. Your expertise will help us to improve our car's performance and stay ahead of the competition.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop aerodynamic components, including wings, diffusers, and other aerodynamic devices
- Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and wind tunnel testing to validate aerodynamic performance
- Collaborate with our mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate aerodynamic components into our car design
- Analyse data from testing and simulations to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain detailed design documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in aerodynamics, either through academic projects or industrial experience
- Strong understanding of aerodynamic principles and computational fluid dynamics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA or SolidWorks
- Experience with CFD software, such as ANSYS or OpenFOAM
