Associate Director, FX Structurer

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for transaction management and execution
• Actively involve in devising transaction terms, creating marketing materials, obtaining internal approvals, deal documentation, obtaining ratings, pricing and execution of deals
• Act as product expert, providing technical expertise and education to marketing staff and clients
• Coordinate the execution of transactions between trading, sales, marketing and internal control functions
• Draft term sheets, presentations and approval papers for structures, basic pricing of structures and attendance of client meetings with marketing staff for technical support
• Develop an understanding of relevant market fundamentals and drivers and apply these when assessing the economic value and trading principles behind structures and trade ideas
• Assist in driving strategy for both the sales and trading desks
• Follow pricing and technical developments in the financial markets and can articulate a house view on these

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Have a deep understanding of FX and rates products, and be able to position structures within the broader macro/story for clients
• Have strong FX derivatives expertise, with proven understanding of vol, greeks and risk drivers
• Possess robust quantitative and analytical skills in Excel, VBA and/or Python
• Be able to build scenario analysis, payoff profiles and simple back tests
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to translate complex payoffs into clear narratives, lead client discussions, and coordinate pricing and execution with trading and sales
• Be able to multi-task and to work well under pressure, with a control & suitability mindset
