Description
Be the face of recycling as an Information Point Officer at Biffa. This role involves providing top-notch customer service, helping visitors sort and recycle their waste effectively, and promoting recycling by ensuring waste is segregated wherever possible.
As an Information Point Officer, you'll play a key role in keeping our recycling centre running smoothly while helping the public make greener choices. You'll be the first point of contact, providing assistance to visitors, and ensuring waste is properly segregated.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting visitors with their queries
- Helping visitors sort and recycle their waste effectively
- Monitoring and redirecting commercial and non-compliant waste
- Operating booking systems for designated sites
- Keeping the site clean, safe, and running efficiently
