Description
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team at AVL DiTEST. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will develop embedded software for measurement devices and work closely with renowned OEM customers in the automotive industry.
Your responsibilities will include creating, developing, and optimising device drivers, including fault analysis, bug fixing, and implementing new functions. You will also review, implement, and test software modules within our standardised development process. Your responsibility will be for software release and the transition of device software into series production.
To be successful in this role, you will have a technical education in a relevant field such as embedded software development, software engineering, electronics, or information and computer engineering. You will have fundamental knowledge of C programming and experience in embedded software development. Experience with Cortex M0/M3/M4 microcontrollers is an advantage.
You will be familiar with version control systems such as Git and have excellent English language skills. German language skills are an asset. You will possess high customer and team orientation, as well as a strong quality awareness. Your analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style, along with a high level of independence, will be key to your success in this role.

The minimum salary for this position is €62,896.12 gross per year according to the collective agreement of the automotive industry. The actual remuneration will be based on your qualifications and professional experience and can be significantly higher.
