Description
The Community Support Engineering team at Airbnb is responsible for building the world-class technology, architecture, and solutions that power community support at Airbnb. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work in a global collaboration environment and lead the project execution for better Airbnb customers and agents experience. You will develop and evolve CS engineering foundations with long-term strategies, such as core CS data service, supervisor platform, and foundational toolings etc.
A typical day involves working cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy to build novel products and features. You will drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You'll be reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
Your expertise includes 6+ years of industry experience, proficiency in at least one major programming language, experience in building large and scalable systems, ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems, mentorship to junior developers, and fluent communication in both English and Chinese.
