Description
We are seeking a creative and entrepreneurial Marketing Specialist to execute our core marketing functions and play a key role in strategic market expansion. This role is perfect for a well-rounded marketer who thrives on both hands-on execution and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for managing our social media presence, organizing marketing events, generating insightful reports, and applying your expertise to support the launch of new businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Management (30-60%)
Develop and execute the social media strategy across platforms in China (e.g., WeChat, Weibo, Douyin) to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and publish engaging content (graphics, video, text) tailored for both B2B and B2C audiences. Manage community interactions, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
Marketing Events & Campaigns (5%)
Plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline marketing events, including webinars, trade shows, partner showcases, and community tournaments. Support the development of integrated marketing campaigns to promote company services, products, and new initiatives. Manage event logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up to maximize lead generation and ROI.
Reporting & Analytics (5%)
Monitor, track, and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and social media channels using analytics tools. Generate regular reports on KPIs (e.g., engagement rates, lead generation, conversion rates, ROI) to provide actionable insights and inform future strategy. Present findings and recommendations to the management team.
New Business Sector Support (30-60%)
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends for new business sectors. Apply marketing expertise to develop go-to-market strategies, target audience profiles, and initial branding for new ventures. Collaborate with the business development and leadership teams to create marketing materials and pitches for new potential service lines or products. Execution for delivery of potentially one or more of the new business sectors.
Represent the region for Global Marketing and Brand Alignment
Work with the global marketing, branding, and social media teams for alignment and execution of global campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant working experience.
- Proven hands-on experience managing social media channels and running marketing events.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Baidu analytics, social media insights etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- A creative, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Passion for and experience in games.
- Experience in games marketing or games media a big plus.
- Good knowledge in game publishing.
- Experience marketing in both B2B and B2C models.
- Experience with graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing tools.
