Description
We are seeking a Master's Thesis Software Engineer Intern to join our Frostbite team at Electronic Arts in Stockholm.
As a Master's Thesis Intern, you will develop a project in an area where Frostbite's engineering efficiency can be improved with generative AI, agents, or context engineering. You will collaborate with accomplished teams and contribute to the foundation that enables the creation of immersive, high-quality games for players worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and prototype applying GenAI solutions to Frostbite's development process.
- Review designs and implementations with other software engineers and validate results using a representative dataset.
- Report to an engineering manager, attend meetings, present progress information, and write a final report.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science (or a related field).
- Associated with a university education or any other type of education in Sweden that has an internship period planned into the education plan.
Skills:
- Experience with Python, C#, or C++.
- Understanding of software development processes.
- Interest in applying GenAI to software engineering (e.g., GitHub, CoPilot).
- Knowledge of AI concepts like knowledge graphs, vector databases, context engineering, MCP servers, LangChain, or RAG.
- Understanding of software quality, test automation, or CI/CD.
