Therapy Aide - Physical Therapy Outpatient

We are seeking a Therapy Aide to join our Physical Therapy Outpatient team at Aspirus Outpatient Therapy in Wausau, WI. This is a part-time position, working 48 hours every pay period, with varied day hours between 6:30am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

The Therapy Aide is a non-licensed worker who works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist and carry out patient care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices in a physical therapy setting, normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous applicable experience beneficial
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• A history of school and work performance that gives evidence of ability to meet the job requirements beneficial
