RN School Nurse

As a Registered Nurse with The Menta Education Group, you will oversee the health and well-being of students, act as a resource for health education, and maintain student records and data for compliance purposes.

The role involves:

• Providing first aid care and medically prescribed services
• Documenting medication administration
• Training staff on medication administration and documentation
• Maintaining school health supplies
• Instructing students in health education
• Communicating with parents and medical providers
• Recording immunizations and health data
• Maintaining accurate service logs
• Coordinating with administrative staff and teachers
• Developing Individual Health Care plans for students with allergies

Requirements include:

• Current/Active IL Registered Nurse License
• Considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders, child growth and development, public health problems, and laws affecting school health services
• Ability to coordinate services between the school, local health agency, and community resources

The salary range is USD 55,000-58,000 per year.
