At Helpshift, we're looking for a skilled Software Engineer II - Frontend to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will work with us to develop greenfield product features that get delivered to internal users as well as customers. You will take ownership of the product feature and be responsible for its quality. Your responsibilities will include writing clean code with appropriate test coverage, reviewing other people's code to ensure it meets company standards, and designing and developing features that are secure and scalable by design.
We're looking for someone with 4+ years of experience in writing client-side JavaScript, a proficient understanding of modern web tech stack, including HTML5, CSS3, and ES6, and good understanding of ReactJS and NextJS. You should also be proficient in cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them, and have knowledge of frontend optimisation techniques and tools.
As a team player with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration, you will display strong work ethics and keep calm and learn every day. You will also be responsible for writing Unit, Functional & Regression tests, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
