Student Trainee - DevOps & Toolchain Administration

This is a great opportunity to learn how enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and artifact repositories are maintained, secured, and scaled across global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and configure SonarQube instances, manage quality profiles and rulesets, and support integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Organize and secure artifact repositories, manage permissions, and optimize storage and replication strategies.
• Support integration of SonarQube and Artifactory with platforms like GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates and patches.
• Implement role-based access and ensure compliance with internal security policies.
• Contribute to internal documentation and provide support to development teams using these tools.

Profile:

We’re looking for curious and motivated students with:

• Studies in the later stage of undergraduate education or early graduate studies (3rd or 4th year)
• Interest or experience in DevOps tools and practices
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines
• Familiarity with SonarQube or other code quality tools
• Exposure to artifact management (e.g., Artifactory, Nexus)
• Experience with Linux and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of Git-based workflows and version control
• Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup and occasionally travel to our HQ in Graz, Austria
• A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning
