Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and to drive business growth through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data architectures using cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of data architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Certification in data engineering or a related field
