Design Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Design Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analysing quality data, developing countermeasures, and overseeing the quality data process to meet die/mold requirements and achieve production KPI targets.

Key Accountabilities

• Collect and analyse quality data to develop countermeasures to meet Quality targets.
• Evaluate and ensure final quality of dies shipped to production plant.
• Present Quality results to the team and path forward for any non-conforming data.
• Work/Interact with customers to meet customer Quality targets and expectations.
• Develop part supplementals.
• Create Fixture specs for parts produced by tooling.
• Support preliminary new model development to shorten maturation.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent Die Cast, Stamping, or Plastics experience.
• 0-2 years relevant experience in Die cast, Stamping, or Plastics.
• Must know Microsoft Office. Catia, Polyworks, Keyence knowledge preferred.

Working Conditions

• 40% Office Environment.
